Total 12 outbreaks of this insect have been reported by researchers from Jammu and Kashmir to Uttarakhand Himalayas the deodar (Cedrus deodara) forests of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. Recently an outbreak in about 70 ha. in Jhungi Forest Range of Suket Forest Division of Himachal Pradesh was recorded. |
